Children Designing Happiness
We hope that our exhibits will help children grow into independent young adults building their own worlds
who can learn by playing and choose for themselves what makes them happy.
The age-specific content system takes age-specific characteristics into consideration. We will construct a structure that extends from 'I' to 'us', from 2 to 8 years old, from 'I' to 'us', further to 'society and the world'
We also applied the stage of happiness experience to the exhibition planning. Step 1 is the stage of pleasure, joy, enthusiasm, and immersion. Step 2 is the stage of self-confidence, achievement, and self-esteem. Finally, Step 3 is the stage of exploring and designing the dream of self realization.
The exhibition concept, "children designing happiness“, is the ultimate goal that all our exhibits aim to achieve.
We see children not as passive subjects that need care and protection but as active individuals who have the ability to pursue their own happiness. This perception of children is the basis on which all our exhibition programs are designed.
To children, playing is how they learn who they are and make sense of the world around them. It is also an important part of the learning process which helps their physical, cognitive and emotional development. That is why our educational philosophy places great importance on the experience of playing, which is in turn reflected in designing our exhibit programs.
Our exhibits are designed considering the characteristics of each developmental stage of infants and children under 8 years of age and take the approach of expanding children's mindset from "I" to "We" to the "World“. We hope that children take back a happy and memorable experience from the exhibits by participating in creatively designed experiential activities in the fields of art, science, culture, space, nature, human body, imagination and sensitivity.
